The best way to get things done is to simply begin. Starting a fitness program can be rewarding yet challenging task. Perhaps the toughest thing is to get off the couch!
If you have thought about starting, you have already made a beginning. Thought leads to action. Psychologists call this stage of change as the Contemplative Stage.
Here are 3 ways to get moving:
1. Pick what you like:
There are a variety of ways to improve endurance (stamina), strength and flexibility that can be fun. Ascertain the ones you like and enjoy. This way you are more likely to adhere.
2. Cut down on the commute:
Pick a facility that is nearby. The farther you have to go, the more bothersome it may become. Decide on the most convenient and suitable time to exercise. Choose a time where you will be least preoccupied.
3) Start slow:
Your first few workouts should be short and within your capabilities, leaving you confident and competent.
Let today be the start of something new!
