Introduction

What defines the right kind of talent at K11?  What defines the right recruit for us? We could use overused lines such as “the new recruit should be a go-getter with a winner’s attitude,” or we’d rather show than tell. Here’s how we work. If you can see yourself in all of us, then consider the battle to join our ranks as half won.

Work From Home Done in Perfect Harmony

When most would see this as an opportunity to slack off, we geared up to work from home just as we would if we were at the office. We started the day on time and worked overtime when the situation called for it. Our team members actually made a desk out while being impeccably dressed in uniform/formals—for that much needed psychosomatic effect.

Work was on in full swing, and we never missed a beat because we constantly updated our status from taking a break to taking a break for meals…and everything in between.

Brewing a Warm Culture of Care

There have been innumerable instances where a little bit of care went a long way. Caring is always a two-way street, and those being cared for never missed a chance to show their gratitude on social media. Our students are our harshest critics, but they’re also our best well-wishers.

During such moments, we gather around and acknowledge the care that brought about the happy moment. Many of such instances are immediately highlighted, and teammates are appreciated on internal comms immediately. Here’s an instance of our team with our Executive Director Mr Mayur Sabnis helping students pack up hostel belongings. No job is too big or small.

We go the extra mile to help team members and students alike. That’s not all. We’re always in awe of our housekeeping teams and the behind the scenes value that they add to keep our schools spic and span for our students. Care is at the core of it all, and we make sure our housekeeping teams’ praises are sung along with our chorus!

Celebrating Every Occasion Like a Special Occasion

Be it birthdays or festivals, we’re not one to shy away from a good ol’ celebration with happy faces all around. It’s the kind of happiness the genuinely stems from the heart, and it speaks louder than words when you can see it on everyone’s faces, literally!

Everyone is Always in the Know

Complete transparency is what we believe in. Our Director and Cofounder Kaizzad Capadia addresses the entire organization once a month to loop everyone in on what the company has been up to. We also know it by the name of townhall. This includes addressing each department as well as sharing information on the revenues that are coming in and where these are being utilized. We end the meet with team member appreciations because we know they deserve it! Also, we gather for weekly stakeholders’ meetings where new joiners are also made part of how we all learn together and grow.

Your Comfort, Safety, and Convenience Matter

During Lockdown, office cars are arranged for those members who want to work from the office. There’s a pick and drop service via company cars to ease travel burdens of our team members. Also, we’ve taken all the stringent measures to ensure the safety of our students and team members during COVID-19 times. Here’s the dedicated post’s link should you wish to know more.

When team members need some help at home, they approach our operations team. This team also takes care of maintenance and repairs for the team members’ home as and when required. Pet sitting is included in the list too! All this is done to ensure your work doesn’t suffer. Our dedicated office operations team ensures it’s all taken care of to ease home pressures from work. This too is a two-way street. If you invest in us, we invest in you: effort for effort. The reverse is doubly true.
